The Plisse Advance is the first and only original Plisse door available in Kit form, reducible up to 40 cm in the height. The original Plisse features remain all unchanged: the absence of a spring mechanism, the scorpion tails parts and the horizontal cords make this system smooth to operate. The “pull and stop” movement and the flat PVC bottom rail make it fully secure and user friendly. 
The Plisse Advance can be produced in the single side
door and the double side door (up to 4 meters wide openings) 

All the advantages and the features of the Zac insect screens, now available in the face mount version: not just an adaption of the existing ZAC inset mount system, a complete new system thought and designed for those markets where the face mount situation is a standart.

No need of ad­ditional costly and ugly frames. No need of holes and screw in the side guides, the Zac face mount system is a pre-assembled screen that will make every installer happy. Just four screws, one in each comer of the window or door and the screen will be installed.

My house has round ceiling registers for the air-conditioning system. In the winter, we’d get cold air fall-ing from the registers. Rather than put up with the drafts, I sealed the registers with those clear plastic saucers that you put under flower-pots. I temporarily glued them in place with White Lightning SEASONSeal Clear Removable Weather Stripping ($5). It’s a rubbery sealant that you apply with a caulk gun and peel off in the spring.
